Education and cares in health
This line has the general goal of identifying and analyzing the moral problems related to individual and collective health care – including access to the health services and technologies – from a secular perspective and from an appropriate theoretical reference and services that comes from the social and human sciences. Ethical reflections related to the routine of the attention in the health units in the several assistance levels of the Unified Health System (SUS) and the ones related to the use of high cost and complexity medical technologies are included. Besides, this macro project suggests the reflection on the relation between moral and ethical preparation and the education practices especially applied to the health area context. It has the work of social sciences, psychology and education theorists and aims to describe, to analyze and to evaluate the different aspects involved in the moral and ethical preparation in an individual or social perspective. This way, it tries to study the experiences of professional preparation that have been developed both in graduation and post-graduation – including the curriculum framework, the pedagogical strategies used and the competences that are intended to be promoted.
