Animal ethics and environmental ethics
This line is mainly destined to the investigation and diffusion of environmental and animal ethics as knowledge area. The intention is to investigate and discuss about the main moral dilemmas that involve the human being, the animals and the environment, in particular linked to the health field and to the scientific researches. The topic discusses the aspects that interfere life quality of the animals in different contexts such as, the use of animals in researches, animal production, pet animals and animals kept in Zoos, among other situations, concomitant to the reflection on the moral statute and the animals’ rights and the environmental matter. Tools for the solution of the moral dilemmas that involve the animals and the environment in our society are searched.
